Medical Recovery Journey Of Amrit From COVID-19

Amrit, aged 47, faced a challenging battle against Covid-19, which significantly impacted his familial support network due to the prevailing fear of the virus. Following his diagnosis, his wife, apprehensive about contracting the virus herself, sought refuge with her parents. Their only daughter was pursuing studies in Australia, geographically distant during this critical period. Even Amrit’s parents, residing in the same building, hesitated to come into close contact due to the pervasive fear of Covid-19.

Several days into Amrit’s illness, his brother reached out to the doctor for an update on his condition, relieved to discover that Amrit was still alive. Prompted by this news, they immediately rushed to his aid, only to find Amrit unconscious and lying in bed. After offering prayers for his well-being, Dr. Mahendra initiated the medical intervention, commencing with a thorough assessment of his vitals. Treatment began by stabilizing his blood pressure, administering saline water and oxygen, and implementing therapeutic procedures. Amrit was prescribed blood thinners and medication, meticulously monitored and administered for a week.

Recognizing the absence of immediate caregivers, efforts were made to ensure Amrit received a balanced and nutritious diet, pivotal for his recovery. Fortunately, due to the combined medical attention and dedicated care, Amrit displayed remarkable progress, achieving complete recovery within a week. Grateful for his swift recuperation, the family acknowledges divine providence and the diligent medical care that facilitated Amrit’s successful battle against the virus.
